Ventures Development Leader - Pine Bend - 016371
Description
Flint Hills Resources is actively seeking a Ventures Development Leader to work for the Economics & Planning group in Pine Bend, MN.
Responsibilities and job duties for the Ventures Development Leader role may include:
- Evaluate refinery business improvement opportunities (screen) through the development of the root opportunity, vision fit, drivers of risk, cash flow, capital curve/capital consumed, options/alternatives and complexity
- Leadership of a cross-functional team (project management, environmental, operations, process engineering and commercial to complete project screening)
- Develop the Decision Making Framework (DMF) to concisely communicate project recommendations to senior business leaders
- Identify constraints to improving the screening process and drive the continuous improvement of the process
- Understand the Pine Bend refinery vision and economic drivers
Work Experience & Skills Required:
- 10+ years of refining or complex chemical production experience
Education Required:
- Bachelor`s degree from an accredited university in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
