Job Summary:
This role will entail oversight and direction of planners/field engineers in support of all turnarounds (T/A) and outages. In Addition, the role will have direct interaction with turnaround schedulers to ensure accuracy with the scheduling of associated turnaround work. As a supervisor you will continue to implement work practices already in place, advance initiatives being worked and consistently strive for continuous improvement within the department. This position will also have ultimate responsibility with ensuring all piping fabrication is successfully distributed to area fabrication facilities and returned completed to our facilities in a timely manner to meet the schedules for all projects throughout the Flint Hills Resources Corpus Christi refinery.
Work Experience & Skills Required:
- 5 years of refinery planning and scheduling experience
- Ability to effectively manager time and multiple resources in a fast paced business
- Ability to interact at a management level with refinery leadership
- Proficient with MS Office, Word & Excel
- Proficient with Primavera Scheduling Tools
Education Required:
Work Experience & Skills Preferred:
- 5 years of refinery T/A experience in a supervisory role
- 5 years of T/A planning and execution experience
- 5 years of T/A scheduling experience
- Experience working with direct reports and contract employees
- Shop fabrication of piping and vessel experience
- P6 Experience
Education Preferred:
- Undergraduate degree in construction management/science or engineering (mechanical, chemical, civil/structural, electrical)
- Texas (or reciprocal) PE license
This role is subject to the Transportation Workers Identification Credentialing (TWIC) rule and requires the successful candidate to obtain a TWIC identification badge, allowing for unescorted access to the facility within a specific time period.
