Shift: Nights (6 pm 6:15 am) Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday or Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday.

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Purpose: Maintains production output and quality by ensuring consistent operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Duties:

• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on equipment including pumps, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyor systems, and semi-automated production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer`s instructions, and engineering specifications.
• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Remove and fix defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
• Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques.
• Utilizes Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to retrieve and deposit mechanical maintenance information (work orders, procedures, etc).
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs across shifts and to lead.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing any other task that is requested.
