Job Summary:

• Responsible for evergreening Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) data
  
• Responsible for mechanical integrity of fixed equipment and piping in accordance with API 510, API 570, and API RBI
  
• Able to analyze thickness data in UltraPipe (or similar Inspection Data Management System) and RBI data in support of fixed equipment scope of work development for turnarounds and routine maintenance
  
• Scope, perform and/or coordinate turnaround inspection activities
  
• Supply internal customers with inspection and repair recommendations in support of routine maintenance on piping and pressure equipment
  
• Develop repair plans for pressure vessels and piping in accordance with API 510/NBIC or API 570 codes
  
• Identify damage mechanisms as well as evaluate susceptibility and corrosion rates
  

Work Experience & Skills Required:

• API 510 (pressure vessel) and API 570 (piping) certifications
  
• 10+ years of experience as an inspector
  
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook)
  
• Database management skills
  

Work Experience & Skills Preferred:

• API 653 (AST), and API 571 certifications
  
• Experience in Risk-Based Inspection and PVcalc or similar software experience
  

Education Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
  

Education Preferred:

• BS degree in mechanical engineering technology or mechanical engineering
  

Other Considerations (Optional)(Unique skills, Certifications/Licenses, Timing, Travel, Relocation, etc):

• Management experience
  
• ASW CWI certification
  
• Additional certifications/Ind. degree
  

This role is subject to the Transportation Workers Identification Credentialing (TWIC) rule and requires the successful candidate to obtain a TWIC identification badge, allowing for unescorted access to the facility within a specific time period.

This role is subject to a pre-hire physical abilities test
