Roles, Responsibilities & Expectations:

The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of the entire lifecycle of multiple projects ranging in value between $.5MM to $20MM, develops scopes of work, sources and qualifies vendors/contractors, develops budgets, schedules, approves purchases and estimates, work with external engineering design firms, integrate capital projects within turnaround cycle plans, communicates across all levels of the organization and aligns expectations about a project`s scope, objectives, expectations, and outcomes.

Work Experience & Skills Required:

• Extensive experience in project management and overseeing the successful execution of multiple project initiatives
  
• Strong technical background with solid troubleshooting/problem-solving capabilities
  
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  
• Proven ability to lead high-performing teams.
  

Work Experience & Skills Preferred:

• 5+ years of experience in refining or petrochemical industries
  
• Background in manufacturing (industrial plant) maintenance, operations and/or reliability fields
  
• Project estimating knowledge a plus
  

Education Required:

• BS degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, petroleum, chemical, or civil/structural)
  

Or

• High school diploma with 10 years of experience in project management of industrial projects.
  

Physical Demands or Unusual Working Conditions:

• Climbing ladders / stairs to elevated platform

• Flexible, capable of balancing multiple priorities
  
• Texas (or reciprocal) PE license

This role is subject to the Transportation Workers Identification Credentialing (TWIC) rule and requires the successful candidate to obtain a TWIC identification badge, allowing for unescorted access to the facility within a specific time period.
