Job Summary:

• Manages day-to-day process unit capability
  
• Proactively seeks and prevents unexpected events
  
• Develops other unit operations employees in process knowledge and capability
  
• Owns unit capability; is unit`s contact point for process capability gaps
  
• Responsible for process safety compliance and is primary PHA representative
  
• Reviews work orders for process
  
• Owns unit rounds and routine duty calendar
  
• Is the technical coordinator for process issues
  
• Integrated capital project team representative for operations/process
  

Work Experience & Skills Required:

• 10+ years of operations experience in a refinery or petrochemical plant
  
• Working experience in and operational knowledge of crude processing and hydrotreaters
  

Education Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
  

Education Preferred:

• Bachelors degree in engineering
  

This role is subject to the Transportation Workers Identification Credentialing (TWIC) rule and requires the successful candidate to obtain a TWIC identification badge, allowing for unescorted access to the facility within a specific time period.

This role is subject to a pre-hire physical abilities test
