Description
Frac-Chem is seeking an Account Manager to support the Frac-Chem vision by managing existing sales and marketing in North America (with a focus on North Central / Rockies region CO, WY, ND), as well as identifying growth opportunities for oil field chemicals and services. This position offers the opportunity to join a strong, proven business, with a vision to grow. The successful candidate will have a direct impact on the bottom line of the business.
Responsibilities will include chemical sales to customers, as well as working with credit, legal, accounting and operations personnel to manage overall profitability of business.
Candidate must:
-understand and apply market structure, value chain, competitive marketing and trading concepts
-secure new business
-develop strong customer relationships
-identify and prioritize selling opportunities within assigned accounts
-follow-up on outstanding customer concerns to resolve issues
-possess strong analytical and economic/critical thinking skills
Requirements
-5 or more years of marketing or trading experience or equivalent experience and education
-3 or more years of commercial experience in marketing or trading oil field chemicals or services
-Ability and willingness to travel 50%-75% by automobile and/or airplane to remote field and office locations
-Proven ability to develop strong customer relationships
-Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in Business, Engineering or related field
-Stand or walk 50% of time and occasionally be asked to bend, squat, reach or climb / Sit 50% of time completing office related work
-Occasional physical labor in support of field service operations
-Ability and willingness to relocate to live and work in the Rockies region- CO/WY/ND
Preferred
-5 or more years of commercial experience in marketing or trading oil field chemicals or services
