INVISTAs Performance Materials Business is currently seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Account Manager. This position will be based in our Kennesaw, GA office.

This position is primarily responsible for sales growth and market development for DACRON fiberfill in INVISTAs Performance Bedding Products business for North America. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing strategic account plans, promoting the benefits of DACRON fiberfill with selected mills and retailers, and executing growth initiatives at each account.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure 100% compliance 100% of the time
  • Provide direct account management for select bedding manufacturers and retailers.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve profitability of accounts
  • Proactively assess our offering vs. needs/values of direct and indirect customers and offer suggestions/alternatives/solutions to grow market share and profitability
  • Lead cross functional product development teams to identify and develop customer opportunities
  • Manage relationships and interfaces on suitability, service and quality between INVISTA and customers
  • Must be a self-starter, persistent, energetic and have genuine concern for customers
  • Ability to build productive relationships quickly and sustain through business cycles
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Work with sense of urgency, curiosity, and creativity to identify opportunities and deliver results
  • Bedding, furniture, or hospitality industry background preferred.

Required Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Business to Business sales
  • Experience with Financial and data analysis & interpretation capability
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (spreadsheet creation/ editing, pivot tables, formula creation, etc.), PowerPoint (Presentation creation/editing), and Word (creating and modifying documents and tables)
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
