Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide planning, scheduling, and other services for the duration of capital and maintenance projects
  • Provide project managers with expertise on planning, development and implementation of project schedules, procurement and deadlines
  • Improve project schedule results using industry project controls best practices
  • Compliance - ensuring projects are executed in a legal, safe, and environmentally-responsible manner
  • Customer Satisfaction - Possess an entrepreneurial spirit that fosters creative and innovative thinking that leads to customer satisfaction Provide expertise on planning, scheduling, development and implementation of project schedules, procurement and deadlines for the duration of capital and maintenance projects
  • Assist leadership in resource management, project controls, and critical project monitoring while working with cross site portfolio schedulers to maintain alignment and consistency
  • Improve project schedule results using industry project controls best practices
  • Support capital projects and construction schedules in Primavera or Microsoft Project
  • Ensure schedules are complete, aggressive, and accurate
Requirements:
  • Three years of capital project scheduling experience in engineering and procurement
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation
  • Ability to apply and integrate cost estimating, cost control, and budgeting techniques into critical path scheduling efforts
  • Ability to compile, analyze, and use data to make sound economic decisions
  • Computer skills, specifically the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, well-organized, self-motivated
  • Valid driver`s license required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
  • Five years of capital project scheduling experience in engineering and procurement, specifically within the pipeline industry
  • Experience using Primavera for heavy industrial applications Experience with liquid pipeline and pump station integrity, design, construction, maintenance and repair
  • Candidates with one to three years of engineering experience in the pipeline, or oil and gas industries are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of DOT 195 regulations; knowledgeable and able to follow regulations accordingly
  • Understanding of pump design, hydraulic modeling and pipeline hydro testing
  • Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management or equivalent

Other Considerations:
  • Position requires travel of up to 25%
  • Frequently lifts, carries, or otherwise moves and positions equipment
  • Frequently works in hot, cold, or inclement climate conditions
  • Frequently climbs ladders and stairs to reach equipment
  • Position requires the ability to be on-call on a rotational basis and to respond to calls 24/7 for emergency response
  • Position requires the ability to wear a respirator and to pass a respirator fit test
  • Position requires the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Position requires the ability to respond to assigned assets within 30 minutes
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, DOT drug screen, and pre-hire HAZWOPER physical
  • This role is subject to the Transportation Workers Identifications Credentialing (TWIC) rule and requires the successful candidate to obtain a TWIC identification badge within a specific time period.
