Koch Fertilizer, LLC is seeking a motivated and self-driven Accounts Payable Lead to join our Accounts Payable team. This position will be a part of the Fertilizer Accounting team responsible for leading the daily activity of the accounts payable department. Candidates should be familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced business that is experiencing worldwide growth. In the Accounts Payable group, team members are being exposed to many unique invoicing requirements in new jurisdictions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Invoice approvals
• Daily issue resolution
• Domestic and international vendor set ups and approvals
• Training staff
• Subject knowledge expert for sales, use and withholding tax
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Quarterly and annual government/corporate reporting

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a corporate environment
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced, team environment
• Microsoft Office knowledge including intermediate Excel skills
• Associate`s degree with an emphasis in Business, Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution

Preferred:

• Multi-currency experience
• Sales, use and withholding tax experience
• 1099 and 1042 government reporting
• Advanced computer/Excel skills
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish/Portuguese)
• Bachelor`s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution
