Leader of engineering resources to support all technical issues in the refinery owns Process, Rotating, Fixed, Instrument, Electrical, and Controls disciplines. Identifies and resolves issues and problems that are impacting plant operations. This includes all technical issues that are impacting safety, environmental, reliability and production. Current team composition is 2 process engineers, 1 mechanical engineer and 1 electrical engineer. This role is a working supervisor role that owns some technical support responsibilities while ensuring the team is led to agreed upon outcomes. This individual will be held accountable to FHR Leadership Expectations first and is expected to build a team plan with his/her team that is aligned with and supports the refinery vision.

Work Experience & Skills Required:
Minimum 3 years experience in petrochemical operations facility or 5 years experience in relevant industrial setting.
Demonstrated ability to problem solve with measurable outcomes.

Work Experience & Skills Preferred:
5 years experience in refinery or chemical operations facility.
Demonstrated leadership experience formal or informal.

Education Required:
BS in Engineering any discipline.

Education Preferred:
BS in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.

Required Physical Abilities:
Lifting requirements up to 50 pounds
Exposure to environmental conditions (frequently walking in and outdoors) with exposure to extreme warm and cold temperatures
Requires the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, DOT drug screen
