Flint Hills Resources is looking for a Plant Manager to lead the start-up of our new Biodiesel plant in Beatrice, NE. The Plant Manager will bring innovation and strong leadership skills to continually improve the operations of the Biodiesel facility. They will also lead a multi-functional team, managing the plant operations, ensuring production goals are met or exceeded with reliable operations, while promoting safety and environmental compliance. The Plant Manager will also be instrumental in the selection/staffing of the plant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to create value quickly and help build a plant from the ground up.

We are looking for a candidate who can teach others through example while exhibiting company culture. This role requires driving change and being a positive agent of change while focusing on continuous improvement. As the Plant Manager, we will look to you to maintain community and regulatory relationships and to provide coaching and leadership to plant employees.

Requirements

• 10+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strategy development experience along with a broad business acumen
• Strong financial acumen and the ability to drive metrics
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Plant Manager or Production Manager
• Experience in Biodiesel/Ethanol production or a related field
• Bachelor`s/Master`s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
