We are currently seeking an Accountant - Accounts Payable at INVISTAs Global Headquarters in Wichita, Kansas. We are seeking a candidate with strong economic thinking skills that is able to handle multiple projects and manage conflicting priorities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Governance of US and Canada payment processes, including performance reporting
- Execute confidential and critical payments for US and Canada Regions
- Execute all payment processes for Mexico Region
- Governance of corporate card program for North America including delinquency management, analysis and reporting of performance metrics and special projects
- Corporate Card month end accounting process and reconciliation
- Manage and maintain Unclaimed Property process
- Reconcile Accounts Payable balance sheet items
- Project Management
- Develop relationships with internal and external customers
- Ensure compliance with internal controls as well as all laws, policies and procedures
Experience & Skills Required:
- Bachelor`s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related business field
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel (spreadsheet creation/ editing, pivot tables, formula creation,etc.), PowerPoint (Presentation creation/editing), and Word (creating and modifying documents and tables)
Experience & Skills Preferred:
- At least 2 years of accounting or finance experience
- General banking experience
