Venture Projects Senior Fixed Equipment Reliability Engineer - 019612
Description
Flint Hills Resources Pine Bend Refinery in Rosemount, Minn., is among the top processors of Canadian crude in the United States and a leader in providing cleaner-burning and high-performance fuels. The refinery produces fuels such as gasoline, diesel, propane and butane, used throughout Minnesota and the Upper Midwest. It supplies much of the jet fuel used at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. The refinery, which celebrated 50 years of operation in 2005, also manufactures asphalt, heating fuels, and sulfur for fertilizers.
As a member of Pine Bends new Ventures Leadership Team, you will be responsible to lead the fixed equipment technical aspect of venture projects as a dedicated project SECORA (Safety, Environmental, Construction, Operations, Reliability and Ad Hoc) team member. Venture projects are generally defined as projects with a total installed cost of $10MM or greater. Your specific responsibilities as a dedicated team member will be:
Fixed Equipment:
- Creation, review and application of specs and standards
- Equipment and technology review and selection for the venture project
- Equipment spec reviews
- Working with both internal and external consultants to bring the best knowledge to bear in the project process
- Equipment layout and support system review
- QA/QC plans and review of Reliability strategy teams input of reliability strategy development and implementation
Technical abilities and experience, organizational skills, communication, and collaborative teamwork approach are critical success factors in this role. The successful candidate will need knowledge of design requirements to meet operational and maintenance requirements and regulations.
We will require:
- Engineering Degree
- 10+ years of work experience in Reliability/Technical engineering roles
We will prefer:
- Reliability/Technical engineering work experience in an oil refinery or chemical plant
