The ideal candidate must possess, current State of Alaska certificate of fitness at the journeyman level. Have 2 years of journeyman level experience in an industrial or utility maintenance environment and demonstrated ability to safely work on electrical systems up to 13,800V. Maintenance experience on: switchgear, motor control centers, transformers, heat trace systems, battery chargers, UPS systems, and troubleshooting.

Preferred:
Hold a current state of Alaska electrical administrators license.
Have Instrumentation experience and/or an Instrumentation Process Control degree.

Physical Demands or Unusual Working Conditions:
Stooping, bending, crawling, pushing, pulling and squatting.
Climbing heights of up to 60 feet.
Walking up and down stairs frequently.
Constantly (2/3 or more of the time) hearing, seeing (acuity - near and far)
Exposure to environmental conditions (frequently walking in and outdoors) with exposure to extreme warm and cold temperatures.
Lifting up to 60 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently.
