The Flint Hills Resources (FHR) Alaska Maintenance Scheduler will develop and complete an accurate weekly maintenance schedule for all FHR craftsman that meets the refineries monthly objectives. Communicate to the reliability team the daily objectives; monitor its progress, adjusting the schedule as needed for an effective workflow as needed to fulfill the refineries priorities. Schedule and verify completion of preventative maintenance and their timely completion for FHR craftsman and multiple contractors. Maintain and complete monthly measures which identify opportunities for improvement for our field resources and workflow.

Qualified candidates will be expected to work in an environment where it is evident that safety is first in all actions. Have 3 years of Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) database or similar database system experience.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office, have strong communication skills both verbal and written. Must be able to work in multitasking environment and manage change and have strong problem solving skills.

Preferred experience/skills:
3 years of operator or maintenance scheduler experience in a refinery or other industrial environment. Have Maximo database experience.

Physical Demands or Unusual Working Conditions:
Must be able to communicate freely and effectively via normal work place channels using phone, computer network, and direct means. Must be able to work effectively on computer for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to perform the essential physical duties of the position including, but not limited to: walking, seeing, hearing, lifting, bending, stretching, climbing, etc.
