The Senior Project Manager will manage and guide the success of the FHR projects using Project Management Guidelines (PMG). The Project Manager will be responsible for:
Lead multidiscipline teams to deliver FHR projects within the sponsors budget and schedule expectations. The size of the projects and complexity may range from minor maintenance projects to capital projects in excess of $10 million
Manage projects through the PMG process from project idea, front end engineering, funding authorization, detail design, execution, and close-out
Project plan development including project prioritization and communication of priorities and the status to the sponsor, stake holders, and plant personnel
Support the Management of Change process and ensure that FHR projects are executed in a safe manner
Understand the applicable laws and regulations and ensure that all projects are compliant
Ensure that projects are executed and installed with key stakeholder input and that equipment owners are trained to operate the new equipment

Work Experience & Skills Required:
Ten years industrial manufacturing project management experience in a client or contractor position.
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive a project to completion
Strong communication skills to all functional levels, from Sr. Management, to peers, and to all functions required to complete tasks
Effective planning/organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other project management tools

Work Experience & Skills Preferred:
5 years project management experience in an oil refinery, chemical plant, or with a consulting firm working chemical/refining projects.
Demonstrated experience managing multidiscipline engineering groups providing project design specifications, documents, and drawings.
Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of project control tools and reports.

Education Required:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Construction Management

Education Preferred:
Career related advanced degree
Certification or training in project or construction management

Must be able to communicate freely and effectively via normal work place channels using phone, computer network, and direct means. Must be able to work effectively on computer for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to perform the essential physical duties of the position including, but not limited to: walking, seeing, hearing, lifting, bending, stretching, climbing, etc.
