Description

Flint Hills Resources Renewables is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Beatrice, NE.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide administrative support for the Beatrice bio-diesel plant to include the following responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages
  • Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and mail and shipping of outgoing mail
  • File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports
  • Make travel arrangements and process expense reports as needed
  • Monitor office equipment (i.e. copier/scanner) - coordinating any necessary maintenance or repairs
  • Event planning - meetings, conference calls, training sessions including maintaining schedules
  • Various administrative support, as assigned, including but not limited to: document preparation, filing, copying, scanning, and occasional errands outside of the office
  • Work with several computer-based systems for procurement, compliance task tracking, incident tracking, routine duties calender, employee travel planning, employee time tracking, web site administration, maintaining records management database systems
  • Assist in various projects when needed - documentation & presentation preparation

WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 2+ years work experience in an office environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including positive phone presence
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills including familiarity with MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Professional appearance and behavior
  • Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions
  • Strong customer relations and ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to provide support to multiple departments and personnel
  • Demonstrated accountability and responsibility for independent judgment and successful outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to engage people in a positive manner to move initiatives forward
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations, maintain a positive approach, and be a strong advocate of company-driven initiatives
  • Occasional travel (with overnight stays) required for attending training, meetings and assisting other areas or locations

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
  • High School diploma or equivalent

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
  • Valid driver`s license required
