Description
Koch Business Solutions is seeking to hire a motivated, customer-focused, entrepreneurial individual to join our Accounting Team in downtown Atlanta, GA. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable Accounting experience and grow as a professional in order to further your career at Koch and create value for our company!
In this position, you will learn Koch Business Solutions basic accounting and operational procedures and be responsible for a variety of Accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
- Assist with preparation of monthly management reports
- Perform month-end accounting close responsibilities, including preparing and reviewing journal vouchers
- Assist with tracking and reporting of certain key performance indicators
- Assist with annual benefit plan audits and monthly financial statement preparation
- Prepare and review internal billings and payments to external vendors
Work Experience/ Skills Required: - Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Highly motivated
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a team environment
Education Required: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or actively pursuing a Bachelor`s degree in Accounting of Finance with an expected graduation date of December 2013 or May 2014.
Education Preferred:
Masters degree in Accounting or Finance
