The Flint Hills Resources Peru, Illinois facility currently has a need for an Environmental Technician. This person will be responsible for:

• LDAR field monitoring and data management
• Environmental field inspections (SPCC, waste, stormwater, opacity)
• Managing document submittal and filling, as well as overall RIM requirements for Environmental
• Field oversight activities and emergency operations support
• Basic data management
• Prompt and effective support to FHR Peru client groups (management and operations) relating to environmental issues
• Support the facility`s vision of safe, compliant and skillful utilization of assets and a culture of Environmental Excellence

Requirements for the position are:

• At least 1 year experience working in a manufacturing, chemcial, refinery, or process industry
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

Preferred experience for the position:

• Associates Degree

• Compliance experience
• Recordkeeping experience

This role is subject to the Transportation Workers Identification Credentialing rule or TWICTWIC and required the successful candidate to obtain a TWIC identification badge, allowing for unescorted access to the facility within a specific time period.
