Its refineries and ethanol plants produce fuels that power much of Texas, the Midwest and the Alaska interior. Its petrochemicals are used to manufacture goods such as plastics, building products and packaging materials. Its asphalt is used in communities across the Midwest and Alaska. The base oils it markets are the principle raw material used to produce premium motor oil, commercial lubricants and sealants and coatings.

Responsibilities:
Participate in HSSE audit teams and incident investigations
Provide knowledge related to industry and company regulatory framework, government interaction and legal interaction.
Understand and support compliance with Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and other regulations relevant to refining industry.
Develop capability around risk planning tools as they relate to daily tasks and critical compliance programs

Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Civil, or Mechanical), Environmental Science, or related technical disciplines by May 2014
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

Physical Demands or Unusual Working Conditions:
Must be able to communicate freely and effectively via normal work place channels using phone, computer network, and direct means. Must be able to work effectively on computer for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to perform the essential physical duties of the position including, but not limited to: walking, seeing, hearing, lifting, bending, stretching, climbing, etc
