Description

INVISTA is currently seeking an Account Representative to be responsible for leadership of multiple market segments, customer accounts, and leadership to multiple INVISTA sites for optimized collection of polymer recycle and 2nd grade nylon/spandex yarn product streams. Supply Chain responsibilities include optimizing production plans to create higher value products to satisfy customer needs.

Responsibilities include:

Sales

  • Provide direct account management for INVISTA recycle customer accounts.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve profitability of accounts.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, enhancing value for customers and INVISTA.
  • Lead product development projects involving customer and INVISTA processing sites to achieve target goals.
  • Trade performance support that drives root cause identification of trade issues and effective corrective action.

Supply Chain/Planning

  • Provide direction to multiple INVISTA sites to optimize collection, material movement, and processing of fiber streams in a way that targets the highest possible value applications for complex line of fiber end use finished product offerings.
  • Assist with administration and oversight of select contract processing facilities. Lead planning and scheduling to meet order fulfillment requirements.
  • Manage product identification/naming process for fiber end use recycle products. Ensure SAP transactions that establish material set up, place product in inventory, and ensure inventory is accurate.
  • Optimize inventory levels to maximize profit by balancing working capital cost, processing cost, and sales revenue.
  • Maintain working knowledge of international shipment requirements and processes.
  • Interactions with the credit and tax team to ensure compliance with all fiscal policies.

In all areas the candidate must have the following capabilities:

  • Ability to build productive customer relationships and sustain through business cycles
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Strong analytical capability including ability to understand and organize large data files, quickly identify key profitability drivers, etc. Ability to effectively utilize economic analysis concepts including marginal analysis and opportunity cost
  • Work with sense of urgency and deliver results
  • Work well with others and excel in team setting

Experience and Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor`s degree, preferably in Engineering, Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field OR at least five years of relevant industry experience
  • Proficient with the Microsoft suite of products (Excel- pivot tables, formulas, data analysis and spreadsheet creation/editing, Word- document creation/editing, and PowerPoint- presentation creation/editing)
  • Ability to travel 20 -30%, including overnight travel

Experience and Skills Preferred:

  • Experience in nylon fiber spinning
  • 2 years of direct work experience as an accounts representative (building and sustaining productive customer relationships) or supply chain/planning associate handling large corporate accounts
  • Knowledge of nylon fabric construction industries that service apparel and industrial end-use applications
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system
  • Experience in customer service including areas of; imports/exports and chemical industries
  • Experience with supply chain and inventory management tools and concepts

Primary location: Chattanooga, TN but other INVISTA site locations negotiable
