Loan Administrative Assistant Supervisor: TBD Job Status: Full-time, non-exempt

The Administrative Assistant (Commercial Loans) assists the originating Loan Officer by processing all commercial loan documentation necessary to complete a loan package. The Administrative Assistant also assists customers with issues related to their loan package. The Administrative Assistant must have an understanding of policy, requirements and regulations related to lending. Essential Job Duties Assist customers in the preparation of commercial loan packages Order all documentation necessary to complete the loan package including credit reports, appraisals, verification of deposits/loans, tax returns and financial statements Review documentation for potential issues such as poor credit, inadequate funds to close or insufficient income and communicate with the Loan Officer for resolution Review, understand and communicate issues within loan files for accuracy and correction of errors Assist origination team members as necessary Understand and conform to all applicable regulations and laws including loan policy Prepare documentation for regulatory exams Perform tasks such as wire transfers, funding loans, transfers, advances, corporate searches and online Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings Work with Loan Officer and customers to track and resolve document exceptions for loan Understand and conform to all LANB policies and procesures, including the Loan Policy Understand and adhere to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act Some travel to other offices may be necessary to provide customer service coverage Ability to work overtime as needed Skills and Requirements: Excellent customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal professionally and effectively with customers, fellow employees and regulators Knoweldge of, and the ability to use, current technology proficiently, including a personal computer, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel) and other technology based tools Knowledge of LaserPro preferred Effective time management and the ability to work independently Knowledge of regulatory guidelines, federal and state laws and regulations preferred Good organizational skills, a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail Ability to function productively in a high volume and fast paced environment Ability to lift ten pounds Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality and professionalism Equal Opportunity Employer This is not intended as a detailed description of all tasks and job requirements.
