The Teller Line is the Banks main interface with customers and visitors. Tellers are accountable for delivering a high level of customer service. They are also responsible for processing a high volume and wide variety of transactions in a fast paced office. Tellers operate a teller drawer, drive-up window and will work at the international desk. Tellers are responsible for a good balancing record and maintaining internal controls, night drops and ATM deposits. Tellers are also responsible for item processing for their office. Hours for this position are: Monday Friday 7 am to 4 pm; 9am to 6 pm; Saturday 9 am to Noon (rotating schedule) Essential Job Duties: Greet customers and visitors promptly and in a friendly, professional manner Embrace and comply with TCCs Mission, Vision, Values and Taking Care of Customers Embrace TCCs team focused spirit and culture of doing the right thing for the team and TCC Provide exceptional customer service with a high level of professionalism Available to work flexible hours (scheduled Saturdays) Respond and handle customer inquiries promptly and accurately Process deposits, checks and payments, verify cash and endorsements and issue receipts with a high level of accuracy, professionalism and service Count cash, balance transactions and your teller drawer with a high level of accuracy Maintain internal controls and meet regulatory compliance Understand and review check endorsements and apply endorsement standards Make sound check acceptance, check cashing and withdrawal recommendations and decisions based on level of authority, risk and customer expectations Work with other departments to respond to customer inquiries with a high level of professionalism and service Follow all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act Skills and Requirements: Excellent customer service skills Good verbal and written communication skills, including the skills necessary to deal tactfully and professionally with customers and other employees Knowledge of, and the ability to use, current technology proficiently, including a personal computer, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and other technology based tools Data entry proficiency Good organizational skills, a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail Effective time management and the ability to work independently Ability to function productively in a high volume and fast paced environment Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality and professionalism Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred Equal Opportunity Employer This is not intended to be a detailed description of all tasks and job requirements.
