Laramie County Community College

Director, Nursing / Full time, 12-month management contract

Job Location: Cheyenne, WY

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide leadership for large associate degree nursing, LPN certificate and CNA programs. Supervise nursing faculty and staff, program/course/clinical site scheduling, evaluation and budget development. Oversee curriculum development, program evaluations and accreditation status. Advise students. Provide oversight for program communications and recruitment activities and program advisory committee(s). Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with nursing program staff, clinical sites and the healthcare community. Collaborate with colleague staff to integrate cutting-edge technologies, develop additional and/ or innovative health sciences programming and event opportunities.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in nursing, five years of experience teaching nursing at the associate degree level and ability for registration as registered nurse in Wyoming required. Demonstrated development of collaborative relationships and partnerships, record of successful academic program development and leadership, experience with NLN program accreditation processes and strong organizational and communications skills required. Management experience with simulation technologies preferred.

Compensation:
Salary commensurate with qualifications and professional nursing experience. Excellent benefits.
