Instructor, Mathematics, Albany County Campus
Job Location: Laramie, WY
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Instruct day and evening courses on both the Albany County and the University of Wyoming Campuses including calculator-based instruction and, possibly, online or web-enhanced delivery from Developmental Math through Math Applications for Business; advise students; maintain scheduled office hours; participate in division and college activities; and deliver and coordinate the LCCC/UW Math Partnership, housed on the University of Wyoming campus by selecting books, ensuring adjuncts have necessary materials, scheduling, and ensuring both ACC and UW procedures are followed. This position reports to the Dean of the Laramie County Community College, Albany County Campus.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters’ degree in mathematics, demonstrated successful teaching experience, ability to teach all levels of math offered, and capable of using current technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
Community college teaching experience.
Compensation:
Entry level with master’s degree is $40,687. Salary placement depends on education and directly related experience. Excellent benefits.
