Essential Functions:
* Responsible to post payoffs for mortgage, consumer and commercial accounts.
* Responsible for posting payments for mortgage, consumer and commercial accounts.
* Responsible for completing cash and non-cash adjustments including maintenance adjustments.
* Responsible for charge offs and write offs.
* Responsible for Reversing NSF, Stop Payments and various other checks for mortgage, commercial and consumer loans and updating Investor Reporting NSF spreadsheet.
* Responsible for end of day balancing of department's accounts and transactions.
* Responsible for research and customer correspondence per customer request.
* Responsible for return mail for mortgage, consumer and commercial.
* Supports Financial centers employee by answering questions and providing information regarding transactions, balancing and loan maintenance.
* Supports external and internal customers in a timely manner. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills both in person and phone. Answers phone within 3 rings and returns calls or responds to request and/or questions within 24 hour turn around.
* Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by following the Privacy Policy and keeping information confidential.
Secondary Functions:
* Process other cash transactions i.e.: Inter-banks, bank manuals and trial balances.
* Becomes familiar and cross trains with different aspects of department Team member's duties for support when out of office.
* Contributes to the team effort by working on special projects, performs other job related duties and accomplishes related results.
* Works daily queue and complete CIT's request same day received if received by timeframes established with other areas. Maintains regular attendance and punctuality.
* Complies with bank procedures and follows regulatory, opertional and security guidelines.
Job Standards:
* Posts up to 75 mortgage, 10 commercial and 25 consumer payoffs daily with a 100% balancing rate as evidenced by review of daily records.
* Post up to 750 payments for mortgage, commercial and consumer loans dialy with a 100% balancing rate as evidenced by review of daily records.
* Completes all default and administrations adjustments and removes write off balances for REO/Foreclosure by end of the same day received with a 100% balancing rate.
* Redeposit and reverse up to 50 NSF, Stop Payments and other checks for mortgage, commercial, collect and consumer daily with a 100% balancing rate. Update Investor Reporting Spreadsheet same day reversed or redeposited. Order letters and mails with check to customer end of next business day. Send all copies to imaging. Evidence by review of daily records and Nautilus.
* Completes research and mails requested documents for customer within 48 hours what ever the volume.
* Processes return mail within allowed time frame what ever the volume. Evidenced by no out of compliance.
* Completes up to 25 modification/maintenance request daily. Evidenced by review of daily record.
* Balances all transactions and ensures transmission through quick capture is correct. Evidenced by no out of balances occurrances.
* Answers phone within 3 rings and returns phone calls/emails or responds to request and/or questions within 24-hour turn around.
* Completes research and updates system within 24 hour turn around. Evidence by review of loan record.
* Maintains regular attendance and punctuality as evidence by attendance records.
Physical Requirements:
* Talking- Ability to express or exchange ideas by means fo the spoken word.
* Hearing- Ability to received detailed information through oral communication.
* Seeing- Ability to view a computer screen for an extended period of time and/or identify individuals visually.
* Sitting - Ability to sit for extended period of time.
* Mobility- Ability to move from one place to another specifically in narrow/confined spaces to run copier or send faxes.
* Walking- Ability to use feet and legs to move from one place to another specifically in narrow/confined spaces.
* Finger dexterity- Ability to work with fingers for handling checks/documents and use a keyboard.
* Reaching- Ability to extend hand/arm in any direction to move/handle objects.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum of 1 year experience processing and balancing mortgage/consumer loan payments required.
* Excellent math skills with the ability to accurately use/enter data under time constraints required.
* Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, provide superior customer service, and work well with other is requires.
* Ability to use and/or learn industry software specific to Liberty and the department and to utilize standard business related software is required. Microsoft Office preferred.
* Ability to adapt to changing situations, have strong organizational skills and work a flexible schedule is required.
