Positions become available throughout the year. We continually look for qualified applicants for this position as we hire candidates from an applicant pool. Second and Third Shift Positions.
Major Duties And Responsibilities:
1. Produces parts/components that meet requirements using various chemical and mechanical processes following written and verbal instruction
2. Sets up and runs CNC equipment by down loading program from DNC system following established procedures and makes adjustments according to procedures to produce parts that meet specification.
3. Sets-up and runs manual machines following established procedures and makes adjustments according to the procedures to produce parts that meet specification.
4. Maintain close tolerance dimensions while producing parts at the rates established for a particular operation.
5. Performs various production operations such as: bead blasting, surface finishing, part masking, general inspection, deburring parts, packing parts to be processed.
6. May move, handle and dispense various chemicals and handle chemical waste.
7. Recognize machining problems in order to produce defect free parts.
8. Meets basic metrology requirements.
9. Must be willing and able to continually rotate through a variety of manufacturing processes, performing all types of tasks in a cell/team environment.
10. Performs other related tasks including but not limited to performing housekeeping tasks required to keep the work area safe, clean and organized.
11. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
12. Sustains and maintains 5S standards and all continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications And Job Skills:
1. A minimum two years experience in operating equipment used in machining, plating, deburring, and surface finishing
2. Ability to follow verbal and written instruction, read blueprints, use shop math, use gauges and other measurement tools.
3. Must demonstrate the ability to operate all equipment used in machining plating, deburring, and surface finishing without causing injury to oneself or damage to equipment or product..
4. Able to produce parts at the rates established for a particular operation.
5. Must be able to work all scheduled overtime.
6. Must be willing and able to continually rotate through a variety of manufacturing processes, performing all types of tasks in a cell/team environment.
7. Demonstrate ability to function in a high performance work team environment.
8. Must be reliably and predictably available to perform the major duties of the position at the assigned work site. Must be able and ready to perform the job tasks at the specified starting time.
9. Must be able to perform work at a bench height of 37. 5" to 42"
10. Must be able to stand for up to eight hours per day, ability to move about, bends, stoops, uses hands and lift up to 35 pounds unassisted. Unaided visual acuity or corrected visual acuity should be at least 20/40 in each eye at infinity (20 feet) with the ability to distinguish colors.
