Description of Duties/Qualifications:
The successful manufacturing engineering candidate will be a highly responsive team player with the desire and drive to support Linvatec's High Performance Work Teams. Experience in a manufacturing environment meeting production goals and driving continuous improvement initiatives is highly desirable. Technical background in CNC operations, packaging, manual assembly, injection molding, EDM, or electro-mechanical assembly and test will be given preference. Project management skills are also highly desirable.
ConMed Linvatec is committed to the continuous improvement philosophy. Our engineering staff is an integral part of driving those improvements. As such, we also look for the following experience in our manufacturing engineering candidates: Kaizen; 5S; Kanban; Lean Manufacturing; Visual Factories; Six Sigma (trained and/or certified).
Finally, the successful manufacturing engineering candidate will be a motivational, lead-by-example person with a demonstrated ability to get results in a team environment. A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required: BSME; BSEE; BSCE; BSIE, etc.
