Sr Level Refrigeration Systems Engineer
Job Location: West of Chicago, IL
Salary:
$70-95K D.O.E.
Job Summary:
BSME a must, M.S. ME a plus with 5+ years experience in developing Refrigeration Systems. MUST know Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow CFD (computational fluid dynamics), FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and General Knowledge of 6-Sigma tools. Responsible to plan, conduct, supervise and assume the responsibility for one or more complex projects from concept thru implementation with full consideration of timelines, technical specs, quality and cost. This position requires fundamental knowledge of refrigeration system designs. Prior experience with ice makers is a plus.
Resp for leading the design & technology integration in support of new product introduction. Coordinates project work to meet deadlines & cost limits. Build hi-quality and cost effective solutions in the project results. Develops and selects technologies, establishes test & design requirements based on program objectives. Technical responsibilities include the design/development of ice making machines. Strong knowledge of thermal dynamics of refrigeration systems, plus product knowledge around ice maker designs. Directs lab testing, analyzes data, reports official ratings to rating agencies. Will consider relocation.
