Project Engineer - Valves & Mechanisms
Job Location: West of Chicago, IL
Salary:
$70-90K
Job Summary:
BSME a MUST, MSME a plus, with 5 to 10 years in the design, development and testing of Fluid Flow Valving and Mechanisms for Beverage Dispensing or related. MUST be well-versed in 3D Design Modeling. Company uses ProE but could have exp with and CAD package. Sound understanding of complete systems. Awareness of International Standards (US, CSA, CE, NSF). Six Sigma and understand DFSS. Strong understanding of associated materials & mfgring process with plastics, stainless/carbon steels, elastomers; processes like injection molding, machining, casting, forging or thermoforming (pressure & vacuum). Design for manufacture-ability & use. Skills in time mgmt, parts in, vendor eval tooling, testing... Coordinate/execute projects to completion with focus on costing & time.
