Introduction
Merrick & Co., a nationally recognized Surveying & Mapping firm has an opening for a Survey Instrument Person based out of our growing Charlotte, NC office. This is a contract position with the possibility of hire with a start date of mid-June depending on workload.
Job Description
Merrick & Company is seeking career and quality minded individuals for challenging projects including all types of Boundary, GPS, Photogrammetry, Right of Way, ALTAs, Topographic Surveys and Construction Layout. Successful candidate will work under direct supervision of a Professional Land Surveyor and party chief.
Scope/Key Responsibilities:
Experience with Trimble GPS and Trimble Total Station is strongly preferred.
Desire to obtain LSI preferred.
Ability to travel locally is required.
Valid driver''s license and a good driving record required.
Degree Requirements: Associates or Technical Two year degree preferred.
Physical Requirements: Lift 50 pounds
