Summary: This position is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the overall operation of the Pharmacy, ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all age groups of patients ranging from newborns to the elderly; directs and controls the purchase and inventory maintenance of pharmaceuticals and related substances and supplies; participates in the departments planning, revenue analysis, budgeting, education and human resources activities. Position requirements: Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent. Graduate from accredited School of Pharmacy. Current Pharmacist certification or licensure in the State of Arizona. Previous management training or equivalent managerial experience required. 7 FTE's. Working Managers role. This hospital is a community based acute care, non-profit, 50+ hospital dedicated to creating a healthy community and strong health care delivery system. This facility is the sole community provider for diverse population from young Native Americans to active retirees.
