Summary:
As a member of the Dietary Services Department, the Registered Dietitian (RD) provides medical nutrition therapy in a clinical setting. The RD is a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team and assists in the nutritional care of the patient through mechanisms of menu processing and patient assessment, following established procedures. Assists with interviewing, securing diet histories and evaluating patient nutritional status. Gives diet instruction and records patient information in the medical record. Utilizes knowledge of disease etiology, food/drug nutrient interaction, food chemistry, and anatomy and physiology in nutritional
Our medical Center serves the North Country towns of New Hampshire and Vermont with a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, home health services. Our hospital offers 24-hour Emergency Room services, comprehensive rehabilitation services, a Birthing Center, and a highly respected Cancer Care department.
