Description:
140 plus bed short term acute care hospital in northeast Ohio is seeking a registered Physical Therapist to add to their staff. Full time position, day shift, 7am to 3:30 pm. Competitive salary and benefits package. Provides direct patient care in physical therapy and to perform other related duties to assure smooth, coordinated running of the department within the outpatient rehabilitation department.
The position will be primarily outpatient based, with opportunities to cover an inpatient population in the acute hospital or skilled nursing unit (0 - 10% inpatient flex coverage anticipated)
Saturday rotation currently once every 7-8 weekends (generally 1/2 day only).
Work with a team of experienced therapists in a general outpatient setting with opportunities to develop/enhance programming in various niche areas. (Current areas include orthopedics and total joint care, McKenzie certified spine care, vestibular rehabilitation, wound care, continence program, and aquatics).
Ergonomics and/or industrial rehab experience is a plus.
Licensed by the State of Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainer s Board.
Graduate of accredited collegiate physical therapy program.
