Job Description:
Assists with management of medical personnel and services in the clinic under the direction of the Vice President of Clinic Services. The major responsibilities focus on leadership, education, strategic planning, program development and analysis, physician relationship/governance, quality management, financial management, provider and service contract management and day-to-day operations. Supervises the following staff, by job category: Administrative Coordinator, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants at the Medical Clinic. Collaborates with the following staff, by job category: Members of each and every department within the hospital, especially the following: - Physicians - Hospital Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging Quality & Health Information Management Facility Description: Our hospital is a fully accredited, acute-care hospital and outpatient medical center, with 35 licensed beds. Our hospital has been serving the health care needs of the area since 1943. The hospital offers a full range of services and specialties, including home health, and a skilled nursing facility for long-term care and rehabilitation services and a rehab services department. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing;
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of successful supervisory/administrative experience in health care setting required. Previous clinical experience and experience in physician relations preferred.
Certification: Has current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license, and CPR certified.
Skills and Abilities: Initiative, excellent written and verbal communication skills, mature, critical thinking skills, demonstrated leadership qualities, values oriented and confident presentation style.
