Physician Assistant - Surgery - First Assist (PA-C)
Job Location: Eugene, OR
Description
Education: Graduation from an accredited physician assistant program and certification completed. Eligible to obtain PA license in the state of Oregon (licensing fees paid by hospital)
License/Certification: Oregon State PA license preferred. Current CPR certification required.
Experience and/or Training: Minimum of one year's experience as a physician assistant in a surgical specialty as a First Assistant.
Special Skill/Demands: Computer experience required. 100% dictated notes. Use of electronic medical record software. Knowledge of or ability to learn CPT and ICD coding. Must not be a practitioner excluded from participation in the Medicare or Medicaid program. Ability to perform physical requirements of the job.
