Summary:
Under general supervision, plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs for patients to restore function,relieve pain,and prevent disability following disease,injury, or loss of body parts. Delegates physical therapy treatment programs to P.T. Assistant per dept policy. Responsible for plan of care performed by the P.T.A. Duties in patient's home or place of residence and within Home Health Dept
Completion of Bachelors or Master Degree from a Nationally Accred. P.T. school or a Certificate Degree in P.T. from a Nationally Accred P.T. school. Current OR lic as a P.T. or eligiblity and evidence of app for lic. CA lic within 6 months of hire. Valid drivers lic and private vehicle or proof of reliable trans to clients homes, with good driving record. Possess or obtain/qualify for CPR cert. 2 yrs therapy exp preferred. Excellent communication skills
