Description: The Nursing Director is the Nursing Leader for the Nursing Home. Responsible for the patient population and assigned nursing and ancillary staff. Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the activities that take place in the Nursing Home. Provide direction, support, and guidance to nurses and other staff. Twenty-four hour accountability for Nursing Staff.

Qualifications
Education: Graduation from an accredited Nursing School; BSN preferred Experience:
2 years Director of Nursing experience and or 2 years as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a long term care facility Licensure/Certification:
NM RN licensure or compact state license; maintain required life support certification
