- Relocation assistance
- Bachelors Degree required
- Minimum 2 years of current or very recent MD office coding and supervisory experience required
- Minimum 5 years of acute care coding experience required, including trauma and critical care.
- CCS or CPC certification required
- RHIT or RHIA required or must be obtained within 2.5 years of hire
- Responsible for multiple physician offices IP/OP coding, clinical data abstraction, report writing, HIPAA compliance
- Demonstrates knowledge of various reimbursement methodologies, including DRG, ASC, APC and RBRVS systems
- 12 direct reports (coding specialists, billing specialists)
- Reports to Physician Revenue Cycle Director
