Clinical Manager - Operating Room
Geographic Location: near Cincinnati, Ohio
TITLE: Clinical Nurse Manager in the OR
Salary: $70,137 - $101,712
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years of clinical surgery experience is preferred. 2-5 years of progressive management experience is preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of current approaches to the delivery of nursing care and strategies for evaluating and implementing relevant concepts.
Current knowledge base in the following areas: leadership skills, management principles, performance improvement concepts, communication principles, problem solving process, and change theory.
Demonstrates evidence of self-directing professional growth and development
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS: Current R.N. licensure in the State of Ohio is required.
BLS Health Care certification required within 90 days of hire.
PATIENT CONTACT: Patient contact to varying degrees is required. The Clinical Manager is competent to facilitate direct nursing care.
