Job Description:
This job reports to the Delivery Office Manager
Overview
SUPERVISOR: Delivery Office Manager
MISSION: To ensure customer satisfaction through the prompt, courteous and professional merchandise delivery management, making sure that it is delivered in a timely manner in showroom condition.
Job Skills/Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Run internal reports needed to manage deliveries. Reports include delivery tickets, manifests, inter-store transfers, delivery exception reports, and trucked delivery reports.
Prepare delivery routes for next day deliveries.
Control and manage opening and closing of available deliveries.
Contact customers expecting deliveries within a five day time period to verify customer information and communicate expected delivery days.
Contact customers to confirm delivery time frame for next days deliveries.
Contact customers to when ordered merchandise is received and schedule delivery.
