Continued growth resulted in openings in our Operations Department. Morris Furniture Company is celebrating 66 years of service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Warehouse Associates perform department specific duties in accordance with the department in which they are assigned. Departments include:
Returns: Processing merchandise returned by customers for a variety of reasons. Returns associates determine corrective action to be taken on merchandise to ensure acceptable levels of profitability. Includes sending to shop for repair, returning to manufacturer, restock, or clearance center assignment.
Keep location clean and well organized, maintaining aisles and ensuring a safe environment. Includes trash removal and general cleaning.
Ensure customer satisfaction by carefully handling and storing all merchandise to ensure it is received by the customer in show room condition.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to manage multi-task assignments, work independently, and perform each essential duty satisfactorily. REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Warehouse experience preferred
Ability to work varied hours/days required by business needs.
Ability to successfully handle multi tasks.
Ability to work independently
