SUMMARY:
This position supports professional development graduate course work for teachers. Individuals are responsible for the evaluation of student course work. These graduate courses are taken by teachers to maintain state certification. Evaluators are paid based on the number of individual student course submissions graded at a rate of $10/student submission. Evaluators are assigned grading responsibilities based on course content and their own teaching expertise and credentials.
DUTIES:
Grade coursework submissions from students registered for professional development coursework in the distance learning format.
Attend training seminars and meetings as required by the Continuing Education Division.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters degree required
Teacher certification required
At least three (3) years of progressively responsible classroom experience
Significant level of computer skills; particularly as it relates to the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Blackboard and e-mail communication.
Internet and computer access required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Organization skills and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
High level of professionalism, motivation, initiative and independence.
Transportation to Marygrove College campus on a weekly basis
