Description
Job Summary:
Receives, stocks, keeps inventory records issues, and distributes supplies.
Essential Duties:
- Receives, unpacks, inspects and verifies quality and quantity of supplies against order list and stores in appropriate bins, shelves, etc.
- Checks with Purchasing Department about any discrepancies and monitors stock levels.
- Packs supplies, equipment, uniforms, linen, etc. from storage area and stages carts for delivery.
- Delivers supplies to departments in accordance with special request or standard procedures. Secures department signature for proof of delivery.
- Helps to process prepackaged and wrapped items for sterilizing, maintaining batch records according to standard procedures.
- Follows security procedures for area and supply inventory.
- Participates in education activities.
- Maintains strictest confidentiality.
- Other: Performs related duties as required.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
- Courses in basic computer applications required. On the job training and/or experience may be substituted for computer courses.
- Two years clerical experience preferred.
License/Certification:
