Executive Sous Chef - Nutrition Services

Job Location: Rock Springs, WY

Department: Nutrition Services

Shift: Regular Full Time

Job Description:
Be a part of a fast-paced team at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County! As an Executive Sous Chef you will assist the Chef with the day-to-day operations of the cafeteria and room service for patients. Shows hands on leadership with nutrition staff and customers (internal, external). Ensures promptness of delivery of food to cafeteria and patients and that all systems are in compliance. Assist Chef and Supervisor to maintain personnel skills and policies.

Must be able to perform and demonstrate competency in the culinary management role. Assist the Chef in meeting and exceeding the company food budget. You must also be able to prepare for service appropriate to sales levels and control waste. Ensure all stock rotation is followed and all store rooms/fridges and freezers are in order. Applicant must have 2-3 year experience in the culinary field, and must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within this field. Must be proficient in the operation of a computer. Must be able to do whatever it takes to make the team functional.
