Job Description
Be a part of a fast-paced team at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County! As a Laundry Worker you process linen within MHSC to include all phases. This will include collection soiled linen, processing and delivery of clean linen, all in accordance with established procedures. Practices quality control during the linen processes, keeping the Laundry Supervisor and the Director of environmental Services appraised of needed repairs, grossly soiled linen or other conditions.
Must be able to read, write and interpret both oral and written instruction. Experience with laundry equipment in an institutional setting is preferred. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, lift and be able to withstand heat and humidity when working with soiled linen area.
