Board of Directors Position
Job Location: Manhattan, KS
Description:
Manhattan Area Technical College currently has three vacancies on its Board of Directors and is accepting applications for one Clay County resident and two Riley County residents to fill the vacancies. Members of the Board hold unpaid, non-elected positions, and the open positions will be for a four year term of office. Board members guide the College through policy development, provide advocacy for the constituents of the College, adhere to the philosophical and operational mission of MATC, and provide proactive interaction with the Kansas Board of Regents and the public. The Board has adopted the Carver model of policy governance. Familiarity with the Carver model and Technical education is preferred.
