Miles Kimball Company, a leader in the direct marketing of a diverse line of consumer gifts and household products has an exceptional opportunity for an Applications Analyst in Oshkosh, WI.
This position is primarily responsible for leading, analyzing, designing, documenting program or program changes to meet technical specifications for new systems or modifications to existing systems having a broad perspective on multiple application/functional areas. The position supports the integrity and integration of application systems and data, working in partnership with the user/client community in meeting their business systems needs. Bachelor’s Degree is highly desirable in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering as well as 7+ years of I.S. work experience. Expert in multiple programming languages, development environments, debugging tools, testing tools, programming aids, system design tools, DBMS is required with experience in Dynamics AX and in Agile development as a plus!! Candidates with strong problem solving, project management, and communication skills will be successful.

Requirements
Required Education, skills, Abilities and Experience:
•Bachelor’s Degree is highly desirable in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering, Business or area of functional responsibility preferred, or equivalent work experience.
•7+ years of I.S. work experience.
•Expert in multiple programming languages, development environments, debugging tools, testing tools, programming aids, system design tools, DBMS.
•Strong experience with system development life cycle and project management principals.
•Strong problem solving skills.
•Strong program analysis, design and coding skills.
•Must be able to work at both a conceptual and detail level.
•Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
•Strong leadership skills.
•Background in Information Systems with additional professional training in areas of primary function.
•Strong interpersonal skills.
•Must have broad experience in business or interacting with business organizations.
•Must have ability to influence and persuade others over whom there is not direct authority.
•In depth knowledge/expert on more than one applications/functions with additional knowledge of application/function beyond current team.
•Full understanding of the integration of multiple systems.
