Material Research Engineer
Job Location: Greenville, SC

Full Time
Statement of Function:
The material research engineer will perform mid-term and long-term studies and projects on material prototypes or processes.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, research and develop new materials or processes that can improve the performance, cost and/or quality of the tire
- Provide technical assistance to the manufacturing facility as it industrializes new technology.
- Apply technical troubleshooting skills to existing materials and/or processes.
- Act as the technical liaison to raw material suppliers and purchasers.
Requirements:
B.S., M.S., or PhD. in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, or material engineering.
